Fully Chargeable iPhone Nails
iPhones are expensive these days, especially the new ones. So the next best move in comparison to spending loads of cash on a brand new phone would be a miniature manicure like the one pictured here. It's so cute, tiny, and is barely the size of the tip of a charger, yet somehow it looks so real at the same time. They even managed to squeeze in a home button.
Alright, well, clearly, these iPhone nails can't be charged, but this person has evidently gone ahead and made the entire attempt for a photo opportunity, whether it actually works or not.
A Unique Pair of Cuticle Cutlery
These silver-painted nail art silverware may actually look better than any cutlery you have in your drawer at home. They double as both a bizarre choice or style and an extra couple of utensils for when the rest are dirty. This is certainly an unusual choice of a manicure, but the realism and details here are absolutely awesome. Surely, this took hours of intense work for the artist and sedentary patience from the customer.
Whoever went to the salon and explicitly requested this design either really enjoys eating or is a collector of fine forks and knives and wanted to make that known.
A Pre-Wedding Day Design
The base of this woman's nails is a typical light blue, but the unusual part of this design is the fact that there is both a bride and groom sculpted onto two of these fingers. Hopefully, the technician didn't put this on the left hand because sliding a wedding ring over the miniature bride on the ring finger certainly won't be easy to do without the potential of damaging the artwork.
This might be a tempting design of choice for a bride before walking down the aisle to say "I do," paired with both a white wedding gown and a real-life groom.
The Entire Band of Kiss on Two Hands
This picture is a bit confusing at first, and you may have spent some time trying to figure this out. On the one hand, are the faces of band members from Kiss, and on the other are tiny little boots where this person's fingers act as legs. Trying to explain this dynamic to anyone in question at any point in time is likely highly awkward, but everything truly is on point here.
We're not sure who on this planet would voluntarily put hair on the tip of their nails, but this rock music fan couldn't settle for anything less than identical perfection.
We Spot a Cavity
Who needs fingernails when you could have an extra set of teeth instead? A person who would certainly justify this specific question is the one in the picture, who woke up one morning and decided that this would be their design of choice. Hopefully, they're a dentist or work in the field; otherwise, there would simply be no explanation as to why someone would do this in the first place.
It's pretty apparent that these are a pair of shiny white teeth that won't need a trip to the dentist anytime soon. Or ever, if we're being completely honest.
One Way to Always Have a Toothbrush at Hand
This is another case of putting things where they don't belong in which toothbrush heads have unfortunately been glued onto these nails. Unless this person plans on brushing their teeth with their fingertips, this isn't exactly a nail art design that can be considered practical or anything close to it. It is fun and unique, though, so this design could definitely be a great way to stand out in a crowd if that happens to be your goal.
So, this doesn't make much sense to the average mind, but this paying customer must have had their reasons as to why they decided to get a handful of toothbrushes instead of color during a standard manicure.
Ear Piercings Without The Pain
The usual pair of real-life ears was not enough for this person who has a complete set of pierced earlobes on their fingers, which even include dangling gold hoop earrings. It's possible that they were too afraid to get real piercings and instead compromised on a painless option while visiting the nail salon. The nail technician did a really great job with the detailed designs; they almost look too realistic.
The person in this picture is genuinely out there proudly modeling their brand new set of realistic miniature pierced ears as if they are recommending we try out the style.
Don't Get Too Close - It Might Hurt
Thankfully, this design isn't the craziest thing that we have seen so far; in fact, they're actually pretty cute- at least for the purpose of picture taking. Walking around with these would certainly raise a few confused looks from anyone in the immediate area. Though, this cacti lover likely wouldn't care too much and might even be proud of their fun hobby that has now turned into a fashion statement.
These cactus nails are both blooming and prickly but hopefully are not even close to being as painful as the real thing. If so, that would definitely be a problem.
Very Handy Screw Drivers
This might be one of the more helpful nail art ideas for anyone that spends lots of time fixing things or building as a fun hobby. It also could be a really good design that will send you to the salon in the future when a pair of glasses break as they commonly do. Though, the judgment coming from this request will certainly be strong since screwdriver nails aren't exactly normal.
Incredibly, each of these handles is painted in different bright, neon colors, and each fingernail even has a differently shaped screwdriver head for all handy and practical intents and purposes.
Gummy Worm Tips For a Quick Snack
These gummy worm nails might trigger a few sweet cravings, which won't be an issue for the woman with these nails since she can go ahead and take a bite whenever she feels like it. But only if these are real, of course, because fake acrylics likely aren't as tasty as the real thing. The fine details have been so incredibly perfected that these might actually be fully edible gummy worms.
Hopefully, this woman doesn't have to type on the computer for her day job. If so, she will certainly be running into quite a few sticky situations in the future.
A Good Look For Chess Fans
These chess nails are reserved only for the greatest connoisseurs of the game or for anyone who wants to make it well known that they are, in fact, highly competitive and really enjoy playing. Long, thick nails that are shaped as life-sized game pieces like these have to be slightly uncomfortable for everyday wear, but they certainly represent talent both on the part of the nail artist and the customer. They also look very realistic, which must have been hard to do.
This style is perfect for any chess player who would like to declare a permanent checkmate as they show off the fact that their skills in the game are probably better than yours.
Perfect for Pranking Friends and Family
Most people would take a hard pass on this scary look that would only be suitable for a single day of the year- Halloween. These are simply disturbing for any other day and, quite frankly, might be better off just not existing. Some humans really do love bugs and spend most of their time learning and collecting them as a hobby. This is certainly a nail style that those collectors would surely appreciate.
We're grateful that these do not look one hundred percent realistic but are also wondering why anyone would want to be reminded that bugs like these exist in the world as they sit on your fingers.
A Garden on the Go
Sometimes, keeping natural house plants alive can be a chore that requires a ton of work. They often seem to die after a few weeks, and some of us are able to kill a plant by simply looking at them. These fake potted plants are perfect for replacing a hobby you may not have been able to succeed in, that is, if long and invasive greenery on your fingers is something that's of interest.
Every single one of these fingers has its own painted pottery and unique flowering plants, which almost look as good as the real thing; while also being way more affordable.
A Full Family of Pretty Pink Pigs
Whether the owner of these pig nails is a farmer or is just showing off their favorite animal, this nail design is still one that will cause a few eye-brow raises every once in a while. Sure, the babies are absolutely adorable, but the fact that these are now glued onto someone's fingers kind of ruins the cuteness. The thought makes it a bit more awkward as well as slightly uncomfortable.
Pink pig nails are kind of cute when you think about it, but the part where the babies are nursing from the mother pig could have been left out; it's a bit weird.
Mini Harmonicas Made for Musicians
The harmonica in the picture is glued to this woman's pointer finger, which works well in terms of comfort for playing the instrument. Although, pointing at anything and everything might be a little uncomfortable if these aren't removable. They can probably only get a few notes in by the look of the short length of the instrument, but surely this makes for a fun and spontaneous time for anyone wearing it.
This works well for musicians and harmonica players who would like to have one readily at hand, all of the time. They simply have to whip out a finger to get started.
The Perfect Look For Ikea Fans
This is proof that just because you can do something doesn't mean you should. These Ikea nails are far from cute, where bulky furniture like chairs, stools, books, and tables have been handcrafted onto this woman's nailbeds on the left hand. On the other are the letters that spell out the word "Ikea." This design is clunky, complicated, definitely must have taken painstakingly long hours to create, and likely won't last long.
But we guess this person is just a big fan of the furniture store. Between the food and the home decor, some people absolutely love Ikea and often go there just for fun or even for meals.
A Bit of Acrylic Fishing Fun
Next to a fishbowl, a fine-mesh net has been carefully stitched and connected onto all of the fingernails on the one hand, while the other has a fisherman in his yellow hat sitting on the pointer finger. These are likely going to be taken off shortly after they were put on, as functioning doesn't seem possible with this design, but it is incredibly creative and even fun at the same time.
Remember that plastic fishing toy game from the 90s that your parents let you play with? This is precisely like the grown-up adult miniature version of that same fun game.
Watch Out for These Sharp Rose Thorns
From far away, the nail art design pictured in this photo looks more like a nasty rash than it does rose thorns. Things start to make a bit more sense the closer you look after realizing that the sharp flowers were the inspiration for this manicure. If this pattern continues on the other side, these would definitely be a pair of hands that shouldn't offer up a high-five anytime soon.
Carefully putting those fake thorns throughout the hand must have been a prickly process as this has gone beyond a manicure and turned into a complete work of special effects.
These Baby Bottles Nails Are Filled With Milk
Baby bottles usually have one job and one job only- feeding babies. For some reason, these miniature ones have been carefully filled up with what looks to be real milk. It's a curious and strange design, to say the least, but it might go well with a matching outfit for a baby shower or gender reveal party. Also, they're all painted blue, so we are going to assume that it's a boy.
Tons of people tend to chew on their fingernails as a coping mechanism when stressed or anxious. Just imagine that same sight, but with baby bottle nails like these- weird.
When You Run Out of Room for Your Seashell Collection
Seashells are one of life's magical things, so showcasing them, in general, is always a fun thing. Glued onto a hand in the form of a manicure may not have been the best way to do that, though. Let's also hope that they have been thoroughly clean so that this woman won't be left with fingers that smell like the ocean; other than that, this could be a great thing to wear to a beach party.
This design is actually a fun one and isn't as awkward as the other ones we've seen so far. Finally, alongside a unique design are entirely usable and unobstructed fingers.
Realistic Mac Makeup Brushes
These unique nails would definitely be helpful for every and all makeup artists with incredibly steady hands who could use a bunch of extra brushes. A swipe of the fingernail is the only thing that needs to be done in order to apply a bit of eyeshadow, blush, or concealer with the tips of these nail brushes. Technicians seriously come up with the craziest and most artistic ideas for nail designs, and this is definitely one of them.
These once regular nails have been transformed into makeup brushes that might even be functional. Mac is a really popular brand, and although these are fake, they look identical to the real thing.
Avocado Fingers For Avocado Lovers
There are some real serious avocado-obsessed people in our society, which in itself isn't strange as long as the fanatics don't cross a specific line. This green nail design might have been that line. Skin, flesh, pit and all, these nails look really close to the real thing. The one on the middle finger even comes apart and splits in half as if it was an actual Avocado opening up.
Avocado everything is trending these days from putting it on toast, in smoothies, ice cream, and apparently, on top of fingernails, too, which is not as tasty as the other options.
A Food Inspired Manicure
The cute miniature food replicas in this picture might honestly look better if they were not put on a set of hands. Also, just look at that hamburger- it may not be completely realistic, but it really does cause a few cravings. You may even want to eat one after looking at this picture, and it will likely be way tastier than the one that is made out of acrylic here.
If anyone knows what this woman is eating in the picture- please let us know. It almost looks as delicious as the actual food items that these nails represent.
These Nails Can Shred Cheese
Cheese grater nails would be entirely useful for both chefs and cheese lovers alike who enjoy the process of grating a fresh block. That is if they are totally cool with having cheese fingers after the process. This is both messy and gross, so all future cheese grating will have to remain for personal use only because nobody else would agree to eat something that has been sifted through a person's fingernails.
The four famous questions come to mind when looking at this picture; who, what, where, and why. Unfortunately, this is something we can't answer, and we probably won't ever be able to.
You'll Never Have to Pull Out Your Wallet Again
This is the part where a lousy joke about chipping a nail could be inserted, but we'll hold back on that for your sake. At the base, these beautiful green nails aren't too unusual, but the added addition of the credit card chip is what makes this picture stand out. Sure, it's weird, but it's also seriously ingenious and doesn't look like it's uncomfortable to wear either, so this is a win-win situation.
Created here is the pure definition of an easy checkout that requires absolutely no hassle, and this is a credit card that can never get lost, as they so often do- smart.
Sailor Moon Anime Nails
The nail technician that made this anime-inspired design based on a popular television show is a seriously talented artist. Somehow, they were able to carefully handcraft miniature dolls that each represent a different character from the show, and they are all wearing different outfits. The details are absolutely incredible as well as intricate, but going about daily life with these large designs will undoubtedly be a bit difficult. For example, typing on the computer and even opening up packages.
Sometimes, simply watching Anime is not enough for die-hard fans. Although, even clicking the remote to turn on Sailor Moon with these nails will be a chore for this person.
These Pineapples Aren't Even Ripe
It's unknown if there is a part of the world in which pineapples are a solid dark green color, but you never know- maybe the fruit really does come in a gross colored green. These certainly do not look like the real thing, so it would be valid to wonder if the customer in this picture was satisfied with the end product or had just as many questions as we do at this moment.
The person who has these can forget about wiping their eyes with their hands, or maybe they won't forget- ouch. These are both strange and sharp while also being pointless.
The World's First Finger Braces
The only ones happily dreaming about these braces and nails are dentists; anyone else would simply see these things in nightmares. These might only exist for educational purposes if there was somehow a way to teach anything by showing these incredibly strange hands to someone. Since these fingers are connected, they won't be able to separate, which means that these hands are unusable and immobile and are probably better off not being in this situation.
Basically, these fingers are wired tightly shut in the same exact way that standard braces on teeth would be. In the mouth, it makes sense. On the hands, not so much.
AirPods Usually Belong on Ears
The musical pattern on these nails is truly beautiful and isn't anything out of the ordinary before the extended headphones come into a clear view. The color choice is also both pretty and often one that many people go for when getting a manicure. Apple might not be thrilled to know that their high-end headphones are being used as finger accessories, but nail technicians can't really deny the requests of a paying customer.
The painted musical notes on these pink nails are super cute, and there is simply nothing unusual about them until realizing that real Apple AirPods have been glued onto them.
Monster Nails to Freak Out Any Children in Your Life
Any child that runs into this person with monster nails likely won't be able to sleep alone in the dark again for at least a year. They are pretty scary, and let's not even try to guess what is sitting in between those silvered claw nails. Hopefully, this was a Halloween costume and whatever was planned to accompany these claws looked way cooler and much more realistic to make up for the nails.
These nails look like they could do some damage if this person doesn't proceed with caution before touching anything. Also, whatever is on that middle finger is unknown and very confusing.
Two Slimy Shelled Snails
The artist that created these nails might want to quit her day job to become a sculptor because the realism in this creation is simply the result of pure talent. They have been so perfected and glossed over that it looks identical to the real slime that snails are known to be famous for. Surely, eating food with these nails would be difficult, and grabbing into a burger would result in these snail nails getting stuck.
If it wasn't known that this was actually a manicure, this picture looks like two real snails are jumping back from being toughed by a finger- as they usually do.
These Ice Cream Cones Are Tempting
Eating freshly painted acrylic nails obviously isn't recommended, even though these frozen desserts look very tempting. It seriously looks like four real miniature ice cream cones are melting here on these fingertips, which might be why there is a woman trying to take a bite. They are even decorated with toppings that look like fruit or sprinkles that are also melting into each other at the same time. It's truly a work of art.
Yes, this is a fine work of art, and these ice cream cones look delicious. Could we have conceptualized this image just fine without the added addition of this person's tongue? Also yes.
This Green Apple Has a Worm In It
Some may find it hard to look at what is pictured here, which is supposed to be a green apple hanging from a fingernail that even includes an insect. Others might consider this to be absolutely adorable, probably because this fruit has a tiny little face painted on it. It's not the coolest thing that we have seen so far, but they did a good job turning a basic food item into something wearable.
It might have taken you a few minutes to actually find where the nail was in this picture, which also includes a creepy worm that is hanging out of the apple.
A Fully Functional Tiny Toaster
This could win an award for being the world's smallest toaster to ever exist. It is so little that it's barely the size of one entire fingernail, which is incredibly impressive. Shakey hands aren't something these artists suffer from since they are obviously able to craft details that are so minuscule that we can barely see them with our human eyes. Honestly, a microscope probably can't even show the details on those oranges.
The precision that was necessary in order to pain these microscopic details onto these nails must have been intense, and they were even able to include a piece of miniature bread.
The Famous Bottle Cap Challenge, Nail Edition
Seeing a foot posing next to what is supposed to be a water bottle probably doesn't make sense if you have never heard about the bottle cap challenge. It's when someone tries to twist off the top of a bottle with their hands or feet, and it either ends in disaster or success- there seriously is no in-between. We can consider this one successful, though, primarily because of the artistic effort.
The famous bottle cap challenge went viral on the internet for a while, and this nail salon clearly wanted to also have a chance to participate in the trendy challenge.
Definitely Not The Usual Brown Egg
There isn't anything extraordinary about brown eggs, but these ones have been used as nail decoration and could easily be mistaken for a bunch of potatoes. Amazingly, no two eggs here are the same, and each has its own set of unique details and markings, which could not have been easy to execute on such a small scale. Imagine how tiny those brushes had to be in order to get that done.
These eggs are very fake and won't be used as an ingredient in the usual breakfast omelet anytime soon. Amazingly, there is no question of whether the chicken or the egg came first here.
Oyster Shells and Pearls, Too
It doesn't look like the woman pictured here could even pick up the oyster with these nails, and for an unknown reason, the shell that is on the thumb seems to be the biggest of them all. Maybe it doubles as a spoon in order to enjoy the dish. The meal is certainly expensive and classy, but the nail art- not so much. She is definitely having some fun at the dinner table, though.
Both the nails and the oysters start to look grosser and stranger the more time you spend looking at them. So, we do recommend taking in the image and then moving on.
The Dentures Are Out for the Night
Dentures are not a pretty sight in real life, which means that this fake one isn't pleasing to look at either. This set of false teeth can actually be placed inside of the mouth, removed, and can also be put into the very small glass of water that is sitting on the finger next door. There is no way to know if anyone would have volunteered to get this done, but clearly, someone did.
It takes a curious mind to come up with something like this, a mind that also thought it would be a great and artistic idea to recreate a pair of missing dentures in the form of a manicure.
These Fingernails Have Fingernails
These are very creepy but thankfully not permanent, or else that would forever be embarrassing. Tiny hands are a funny thing today, and lots of people are using them in public to play pranks. Instead of a couple of little hands, there are way too many to count here, but if we had to guess, there are probably ten. Why do they only have three fingers per hand? Well, that is actually a great question.
These fingernails might actually be the perfect creation for scratching an itch in any place when normal ones just can't get the job done- we all know how that feels.
What's With the Dental Hygiene Obsession
There can't be many people in this world who want to brush their teeth with their nails and then walk around with that toothbrush attached to them for the rest of the week. Our fingers touch many dirty things as we go throughout our day, so this is not even anything close to being hygienic and won't be recommended by any dentists. Hopefully, these simply remain a work of art and don't end up being used in the bathroom.
These colorful toothbrush nails are clearly functional and can instantly get teeth clean with a simple thumb swipe. A twice-a-day task would now require minimal effort, thanks to this nail design.
