Space Buns
As a classic festival hairstyle, space buns are a super fun way to manage your curls. Simply part hair all the way from forehead to nape, and twist both sections into buns at the top of your head. Secure each bun with bobby pins or hair elastics.
One-side Braid
Give your hair an extreme side parting, and create a thin or thick braid above the ear. Pin, don’t tie, the end of the braid securely. Leave the rest of the hair wild and free for a real rock-and-roll look.
Loose and Defined Curls
For this style, the emphasis is on the products you use, not the tools you own. Define your curls with curl-enhancing products and sulphate-free shampoo and conditioner, and comb through curls with your fingers, not a comb or brush, for a manageable mane.
Sleek and Smooth
Straight hair is not always naturally sleek, but you can enhance its smoothness by straightening your hair in small sections and smoothing down fly-aways with a finishing serum. For an even more polished appearance, make sure your parting is polka straight.
Volumized Pony
Inject some volume into your hair by raking it with your fingers to the crown of your head and tying it with a hair elastic. Then gently tease the hair on top to create volume. Backcomb the top of the ponytail for an extra bouffant look.
Low Bun
Try this low bun by gathering hair at the nape of the neck, twisting it into a bun and securing it with a hair tie. Then wrap another hair tie around the bun smoothing any untucked hair as you go. Finally, pull out a few pieces of hair around your face for a more casual look.
Messy up Do
For this beautifully disheveled look, use your fingers to rake your hair together at the crown of your head, then twist it into a bun and secure with several bobby pins, allowing random pieces of hair to fall out.
Straightened Ends
The Olsen twins made this style famous, and lucky for us it couldn’t be easier to achieve! Simply run a straightening iron over the ends of your hair, leaving the roots and mid-lengths naturally wavy.
High Pony
For this style, section your hair from your temples and pull it to the very top of your head. Secure it with a hair elastic and then, with half the pony in each hand, pull the hair to make it more separated.
