That's What Best Friends Do
This handsome fella lost his right arm and broke his left hand, so his friend gave him the best T-shirt ever. We love how he hasn't lost his sense of humor despite the harsh reality of losing an arm. Perhaps this is his punishment for breaking his good hand. He couldn't get dressed on his own, so his buddy offered to help him with this clever tee! This is how a person needs to handle things that are out of their control.
Seeing his arm also makes us wonder how often people go in for handshakes only to realize their mistake halfway through.
False Advertising
We get that people want quick results, but this is a new level of impatience. This person bought a hand restoring cream and wanted immediate results. Instead, they gave up within the first few minutes. Don't they know that it takes at least 2 or 3 applications before the fingers start to sprout? Or maybe they didn’t read the instructions on the back that say, “use both hands to apply the cream evenly.”
It reminds us of the Deadpool scene in which Ryan Reynolds has baby legs. If this cream were expensive, you could say that this person had to lose an arm and a leg to get it. Sorry!
10/10 for Attitude
We are pretty sure this stunning lady will have no trouble gaining a competitive advantage in this shallow world. But her sense of humor is what we really love about her. If anyone doesn’t know who she is, her name is Paola Antonini, and she's a very inspiring Brazilian beauty. This picture was taken about 4 years ago, and since it was taken her following grew to 2.7 million followers on Instagram.
She has embraced reality with a bright smile on her face and is ready to face the world— more power to you, girl.
Halloween Done Right
Josh Sundquist creates a new Halloween outfit every year. He was nine when he was diagnosed with cancer and given a 50% chance of survival. He lost a limb during treatment, yet he was cancer-free at thirteen and was ski-racing at sixteen. Sundquist is now a motivational speaker known for his clever amputation-themed Halloween costumes. According to him, the best way to deal with social discomfort is by having a sense of humor.
This one-legged legend knows how to impress and win everyone's hearts with an epic Halloween costume every holiday season. It goes on to show that people with disabilities and amputees are no match on Halloween.
Taking It Like A Champ
This person lost his leg and then posted this photo on Facebook a few months later. Humor, in our opinion, makes the world a better place. We may be irritated, sad, or angry about something in life, but sometimes all we need is a little humor to lift our spirits. We loved how this guy didn't take too long to get over his missing leg. In fact, he made it pretty obvious that he doesn't care about it anymore. That's the spirit everyone needs.
And we love the shark as well. Honestly, it is a thousand times better than what we get to see in the Sharknado film series.
A Shirt That Says It All
This guy's T-shirt basically grants him magic powers: To say exactly what is on his mind without speaking a word. And is it just us, or does this guy look a lot like Walter White from Breaking Bad? Maybe Walter White did not die from a gunshot wound and simply lost his leg. He could be enjoying his retirement years as the universal meth lab kingpin. What a legend!
Jokes aside, maybe amputees should start wearing more savage shirts like this one. It gives a clear message not to mess with them.
Wow, McDonald’s, Thanks A Lot!
Well, we have to hand it to McDonald's for trying, right? We think everyone should give them a big round of applause for this slogan. We guess they just couldn't come up with a decent slogan that was meant for everyone. Imagine gifting a bald person with hair conditioner. That’ll be super harsh and insensitive, right? McDonald’s messed up big time and they should perhaps issue an official apology for this one.
On the other hand, no pun intended, this photo made us hungry. It could be an honest mistake from McDonald’s, so we need to cut them some slack.
Amputee Adventure
Angel Giuffria is the name of this funny lady. She is an actor, public speaker, philanthropist, and model born without a left hand due to a genetic condition. She was fitted with a passive prosthesis at the age of six weeks, and at the age of five months, she moved to a myoelectric prosthetic hand. She has appeared on NBC's Chicago Med, CBS' FBI Most Wanted, and films such as The Accountant. Today, Giuffria has been making her way through the entertainment industry.
We have to hand it to this cyborg queen; this is an outstanding job. She has a great sense of humor and clearly loves what she does.
Buzz Lightyear As Mrs. Nesbitt
One of the reasons that people of all ages look forward to Halloween is the opportunity to dress up in their most imaginative costumes. The goal should be to make the outfit stand out from the crowd, and people's ingenuity, resourcefulness, and wit come into play. Take this guy for example, who created a hilarious Halloween costume of Buzz Lightyear as Mrs. Nesbitt. We hope you all remember this scene from Toy Story! Maybe he is saying, “One minute you're defending the whole galaxy, and, suddenly, you find yourself sucking down Darjeeling with Marie Antoinette... and her little sister.”
This costume is spectacular. The epic Mrs. Nesbitt version of Buzz Lightyear should never be forgotten!
Always Leave A Note
This person was born without legs. But what he lacks in running skills is definitely compensated by his sense of humor. There is no denying that people like this young fella are an inspiration to a lot of people out there. What distinguishes these individuals is their ability to adapt to misfortune and keep a sense of humor throughout it all. And if they can troll other people while at it, it's even better.
However, we do feel that he has no excuse for wearing what seems to be a fanny pack. Legs or no legs, no one should be allowed to wear a fanny pack.
These Kids Are Never Going To Beach Again
If there is one advantage to being an amputee, it has to be the opportunity to prank kids on the beach. This is some very hilarious stuff right there. When the beach was crowded with people, this individual managed to carry off a prank that most probably scarred these kids for life. They might never go to the beach again. We really want to know what is going inside the heads of those little ones.
To make it more fun (or scary), he should hop out of the water and yell, "SHARK ATE MY LEG!!!" We feel that the kids nowadays are too smart for their age, though, so some kids might just take the leg and run away.
A Sense Of Humor Is Always A Blessing
When this lady went to the amusement park and saw this T-Rex, she immediately knew what she had to do. But what would you expect, really? This is usually what happens when someone enters a T-Rex enclosure. Either someone loses a limb or their life. Hasn't she seen Jurassic Park? What dinosaur movies have shown us is that a T-Rex can never be trusted. Imagine if dinosaurs still existed and this actually happened to people!
How do these people come up with such hilarious ideas? Do they go around places hoping to find the next scary thing to pose next to?
A Beautiful Snow Angel
We used to think that a person needs to have both arms and legs to make a snow angel, but this guy has shown us that anything is possible. All we have to do is look at things differently and be positive. Instead of crying about his misfortune, he is enjoying life, and what's more enjoyable than a snow angel, right? They're so festive and fun, and bring out the inner child in people.
Whoever thought that seeing a grown man playing in the snow could look so adorable, right? Everyone loves the snow, and so does this guy!
If It Looks Stupid But It Works, It Ain't Stupid
This veteran lost his leg in Afghanistan, but that doesn't stop him from having fun. He has adjusted to life with a prosthetic pretty well, especially when it comes to going out for a drink with his buddies. He just wants everyone to know that there is no need for a wimpy cup holder when a prosthetic leg can do the job just fine. More power to you, cup-holder-less man.
So we can say that when life gave him lemons, he made lemonade and used his prosthetic leg to hold it. What a legend!
A Bit Dark But Awesome
Oh boy, this is the best tattoo we have seen in a long time. This guy seems to have it all (except for his leg), with a healthy sense of humor and a cool tattoo. With this tattoo, he's telling the world that he knows exactly how to deal with his unusual circumstances and truly come out on top. We wish everyone had such a positive outlook on life.
We wonder if you could actually exercise with these prosthetics. Judging by this guy's muscular calf, he's in pretty good shape!
Real Or Fake?
How does a one-armed girl show she's hilarious? This is how. We would love to be friends with this girl, as we appreciate dark humor when it's this good. We hope that no one ever questions the authenticity of the top statement, but if anyone tries to question the bottom statement, they should seriously get their eyes checked, pronto.
And just to make it clear for all of our readers, she is talking about the shirt made from real cotton and not polyester. We thought some people might not get what she’s saying. We'll just walk away now.
A Perfect Christmas Present For Their Amputee Brother
Christmas is finally here and this handsome fella received a perfect gift from his brother – a gift that says it all. His brother could've gifted him anything in the world, but he decided to troll him a little. After all, no one likes chocolates, books, or even PS5 anymore, right? Trolling is the most thoughtful way to show you care. Clearly, he loved the gift judging by his expression.
If this brother doesn't like his Christmas present, he should know that his brother was just pulling his leg. We'll let ourselves out.
Never Skip Leg Day
This is what happens when someone fails to do leg day at the gym. Hey man, don't beat yourself up for making such a common mistake! Or maybe he is just excited his muscle pain is gone. This just goes to show how some soldiers fight for their country and lose almost everything, but not their sense of humor. We have nothing but respect for these brave men, we really do.
There’s nothing more inspiring than seeing people like this guy having fun and not letting anything pull them down.
Where Did It Go?
We tried our best, but we couldn't stop ourselves from laughing at this cheeky tattoo. While serious injuries are never funny, it is great how some people look on the light side to cope with them. This person stole the show with just this single-worded tattoo that was perfectly executed. Even if this is their only tattoo, they don't need anything else. This is tattoo gold.
They can't really wear rings or anything of that nature on this missing finger, but they seem to be pretty okay with it.
How To Earn Money Easily
We understand that the current pandemic has forced people to look for more ways to earn money. This one seems like the best idea ever. He got tired of telling the story of how he lost his leg over and over again, so he thought, why not charge people money for it? People are interested in how he lost his leg and this can either stop them from asking, or earn him so much welcome cash.
Even if we knew what had happened to him, we would never tell. We want people to pay him for his efforts!
Talk About a Perfectly Executed Piece of Ink
This lifelike tattoo elevates body art to an entirely new level. This guy's shoulder stump was nothing more than a dolphin waiting to be born. During his childhood, this man was involved in a rare accident that resulted in the loss of his arm. For many years, he hated the stump. That is, until he got this seriously real-looking dolphin tattooed on it. Somehow, we have the feeling that he received quite a few compliments on this guy.
So now that this guy has one cool tattoo, he’ll always have a buddy with him wherever he goes. We don’t know if real dolphins would approve of it, but we love it.
Education Is Expensive
The tuition fees have increased significantly in recent years. This girl deserves additional credit for getting her degree after spending $45k and losing a leg. Despite the fact that she said that she is not a big fan of decorated graduation caps, she saw a big opportunity to make the joke. Well, she grabbed the opportunity with both hands. And we love how she still wore platform wedges despite only having one leg!
That’s the spirit we all need in our lives. We have huge respect for her for graduating despite the hardships. Some people don’t graduate even with two good legs.
This Is What Being a Badass Looks Like
This is marine veteran Brad Ivanchan, whose life changed drastically after losing his legs in Afghanistan. He was thankful for coming home alive, but he didn't come back in the same condition he left a few years back. He was in a near-fatal explosion that led to double amputation. Yet, he was so determined to recover that he learned how to walk using prosthetic legs in just two months.
However, an infection in 2015 resulted in several surgeries that put him back in a wheelchair. He doesn’t have his legs, and yet he looks more ripped than most people.
When Lightning Strikes Twice
We really want to know what this person does in his spare time. Clearly, he has lived an adventurous life so far. But it seems like he was tired of answering the same questions over and over. With a tattoo like one of these, he can answer the question even before people open their mouths to ask! Naturally, these tattoos may raise more questions than the actual amputations themselves, but at the very least, they serve as excellent discussion starters.
Honestly, we would love to know the story behind these. This guy should wear a shirt that has "Amputation Story for $10" and earn some extra cash on the side.
And It Isn’t Coming Back!
This person should feel lucky that his little piggy went to the market and others "stayed at home." Maybe he knew that the little piggy was never coming back. So, he got this tattoo to honor his missing big toe. After looking at it, we think they should encourage all amputees to get tattoos. In fact, there should be a fundraiser for amputees so that they can get whatever tattoo they like.
We believe that a hilarious tattoo is not only a good conversation starter but also helps fight the psychological and social effects of amputation. Or at least we hope so!
Some Hardcore Cosplay
It is crazy how just a little fake blood and one leg can make people lose their minds. At first, we thought this girl in a picnic dress was prepping for a BBQ. But then we noticed the leg. According to this girl, her family is pretty morbid and they make awful jokes about her missing a leg all the time (she finds them hilarious). One day she went to the Spirit Halloween store with her mother and found a fake leg. So, they came up with this freaky photoshoot. She believes there is no point in sitting around and doing nothing when they can easily disturb random people with one photo.
This image is creepy, but we love it. Honestly, we have fallen in love with this girl's sense of humor. Another reason to love her is that she looks a lot like Katy Perry!
Such Thoughtful Christmas Gifts
Okay, this is super hilarious. This is what happens when irony knows no bounds. The husband lost an arm, so he received gloves as a Christmas present. The wife had a double mastectomy, so she received a bra. It seems like someone didn't update their Amazon Christmas wish list before sending gifts to this beautiful couple. We can hope that those are not the only presents they received that day. We are just kidding, of course.
They should exchange those gifts between them. Have her wear the gloves and him wear the bra. They would probably both look lovely.
Joining The Army of Darkness
Now this is badass. When it comes to Halloween, amputees can take the game to the next level. Take an example of this warrior who picked a classic horror movie - Army of Darkness - and bust out the chainsaw. This brilliant costume idea perfectly demonstrates that amputees' sense of humor and creativity extends way further than our physical limits. They are the real deal. They are the true warriors.
We bet she’ll not only defeat the army of darkness but also save the world in case of a zombie apocalypse.
‘Attacked By A Shark’ Halloween Costume
We often try our best to forget bad memories. It is okay to suppress traumatic memories because they trigger anxiety in a person. But this guy who miraculously escaped from the jaws of a shark doesn't mind re-enacting what happened to him on that fateful day. Although that shark filled its belly with this person's body parts, he is not going to let that event haunt him forever. Instead, he has embraced his fears with a hilarious Halloween costume and we love it.
Some might say it is a graphic Halloween costume and we agree with them. However, sometimes, we just have to let it all out and this is how this person wanted to do it.
Kids, Save Your Mother!!!
What's the fun in a Halloween costume when the kids aren't involved. From the crime scene tape to the bones on the ground, everything is perfect in this image. We love the faces of her daughters; they are absolutely priceless. Did anyone notice Jason Voorhees's name on the tombstone? Maybe he took off her leg with his machete. We bet this mother and her daughter are going to defeat Jason in this fight.
Sense of humor is a great thing to get a person through difficult situations. We’re glad this mother is showing her girls that life is still good no matter what is thrown at them. She’s doing great work there.
An Amputee Vet With A Sense of Humor
This veteran lost his leg and might have let the traumatic accident take his sense of humor too. However, he didn't let that incident dictate the way he wanted to live his life. Some might say he took the bones out of his leg and put them in this prosthetic leg, and it does seem like he knows how to utilize his resources. And let us make it clear that he is not that viral TikTok user by the name of Jon-Jon, who has an extensive collection of human cartilage.
One thing we know for sure is that no one should mess with this bad boy. He has seen it all and there’s no point in picking a fight with him.
Meet Stumpy
We understand that this man isn't an amputee by choice, but why did he get this tattoo? Doesn't he know that the permanent ink is going to look super silly and weird once Stumpy grows back? Jokes aside, he knows that amputation is permanent so why not get a tattoo about it that is permanent too. If anyone asks us, we think Stumpy looks super cool. The only problem with this tattoo is that it is missing an apostrophe.
We have a suggestion. He could have skipped the tattoo and put a sticker on the prosthetic leg saying: My Other Leg Got Me Into This Mess.
Zombie On Wheels
We have seen how amputees have come up with some creative and brilliant costumes that only they can pull off. From using the wheelchair or a missing limb to becoming a lamp, amputees come up with super witty ways to celebrate Halloween. Take an example of this human flesh-eating zombie. It seems like she has started eating humans before the start of the apocalypse. She looks all prepared for the end of the days.
Such is her character that zombies around her look fake. We also have a feeling that she looks like a woman who is always ready for a zombie crawl.
He Knows How To Put His Prosthetic to Good Use
This veteran amputee is doing it like a boss. He knows the secret formula of hitting the target: put the foot down and then put the best foot front. We bet even the enemies feel scared of him. Legend has it that one time he was ready to shoot his enemy in this stance and something strange happened. The enemy gave him a salute because of his ingenuity when it comes to using a prosthetic leg.
We made this story up but we have a feeling that it is true. After all, who wouldn’t stop for a second to appreciate what he has done for his country (except for the enemies).
The Best Pirate Costume Ever
So finally we have an entry on our list of an amputee with a pirate leg. Okay, we can understand that the pirate outfit is the most obvious choice for an amputee, but we are challenging anyone out there to come up with a better pirate costume than this one. It seems like no one, absolutely no one can pull off the pirate costume like an amputee. Honestly, these amputees are making it so unfair for two-legged freaks like us.
We hope it is clear by now that amputees are a thousand times better than two-legged freaks like us, especially when it comes to Halloween costumes and humor.
Leg Lamp
Oh boy, the scale on this is hilarious. Is he asking his wife, "Honey, is my leg looking a bit small here?" We find it fascinating how these amputees come up with such hilarious ideas. It is inspiring to see them happy because many amputees face financial difficulties due to insurance companies' stinginess when it comes to prosthetic legs. Many amputees are required to pay a significant portion of the cost of their prosthetic limb, which can range in price from $10,000 to $50,000.
We have massive respect for amputees for not letting physical, mental, and financial hardships take down their humor.
Dude, Where's My Leg?
This amputee is the clear winner out of the many amputees who have donned this shirt throughout history. And let us make it clear that many amputees have worn this t-shirt and looked awesome in it. Why is she so special? It is not simply because she is attractive that people are drawn to her. She is really rocking the Staying Alive pose from the 1970s! Now we also think that every amputee who is missing a leg should get this t-shirt.
We don’t know the reason behind her amputation, but we feel that she used to dance a lot. One can hope that she hasn’t stopped dancing even now.
Lego Leg
This amputee's prosthetic leg is made with Lego bricks. One amputee built a real Lego leg while waiting for the real one to be built, but it was uncomfortable for him. However, this lady has a special Lego prosthetic that looks super cool. Her name is Christina Stephens, a practicing occupational therapist and clinical researcher who lost her foot after a crush injury. She built herself a working prosthetic leg out of Lego.
When asked about why she went for it, she explained: “Someone in my research lab jokingly suggested I make a prosthetic leg out of legos. The joke’s on you—I went home and did it. Please don’t do this yourself, I don’t want you to fall and get hurt!”
A Giant Thumb
When life gives a limb loss, make a giant thumb. Some people might love it, while others may feel that it crosses the line. However, we think that everyone needs to understand this is how an amputee wanted to cope with the loss of their hand. Everyone has a different taste when it comes to getting a tattoo. They could have gone with something else, but they went for this one and we are so happy for them.
However, we do feel that some people might think that this giant thumb looks like a giant middle finger. We hope that is not the case.
A Tribute
We have seen by now that some people had to get special tattoos to explain what happened to them or why their limbs had to be amputated. But that is not going to happen to this guy. This guy doesn’t have to explain anything about what happened to his arm. Instead of getting mad at the shark who tore off his arm, he came to terms with his nemesis and used the little stub on his shoulder to create a genius shark nose.
He went one step ahead of everyone and got a tattoo that does the talking. Perhaps he was tired of talking about the same incident over and over again. We admire that he respects the power of nature and is not angry at the shark for doing something that comes naturally to it.
